I’m Reagan Stone, a fundraising professional and expert campaign strategist who serves to help nonprofits, legislators, and candidates connect with the right folks. For over a decade, I have served in organizing and coalition building, legislative relations, political strategy, messaging, social media content, project management, fundraising and development.     • Planning and hosting large-scale protests and rallies in rural West Texas, organizing events that drew hundreds of attendees through logistics, permitting, speaker coordination, and on-the-ground volunteer management to ensure safety, visibility, and media coverage

    • Reporting on candidate news and campaign visits for major podcasts and newspapers, compiling timely briefs, coordinating press opportunities, and providing on-site reporting and interviews to amplify campaign messages and increase press engagement

    • Organizing candidate forums and promotional events—handling venue selection, moderator and speaker arrangements, audience outreach, and event promotion—to create accessible public forums and maximize candidate visibility across diverse communities

  • March 2024 - September 2025

    • Lead strategic messaging, daily content, op-eds, issue articles, graphics production, and press releases–writing or editing three to five articles per week; maintaining regional and statewide sources; project managed a request for public information; managing a remote team

    • Cultivate relationships with political and nonprofit organizations, press, elected officials, and candidates, with a deep understanding in the mechanisms of governmental processes

    • Spearhead growth in grassroots donor engagement, developed a donor centric, mission-oriented fundraising model; increased donations from $60K in 2023 to a projected $250K in 2025

    • Produce new media (audio podcasts) and understand recording equipment and production–regular commentator on the Progress Texas Podcast; interviewed many well-known figures in politics including U.S. Representatives Al Green and Joaquin Castro, San Antonio Mayors Ron Nirenberg and Gina Ortiz Jones, State Representative Vikki Goodwin, and Texas Tribune Politics Reporter Eleanor Klibanoff; invited panelist at numerous conferences including EarthX; shared cultural content to a diverse audience; initiated a Spanish Media Advisory Board

    • Passed resolutions that increased the minimum wage for city employees and will lead to aligning local elections with November general elections–formed relationships locally on and off the council; developed an understanding of local rules and procedures; secured grant funding for emergency preparedness from FEMA in a new political climate

    • Initiated reforms on utility billing and affordable housing as well as campaigns surrounding gun safety, LGBTQ+ awareness, and criminal justice–partnered with allied organizations regionally and hyper-locally including at Sul Ross State University

  • May 2022 - September 2023

    • Established strategic goals for small business development and local economic growth–added largest increase in business membership in a decade, taking membership from 25 local businesses to over 100; created peer to peer subject matter training events for businesses in website development to social media advertising; began inaugural membership gala and nonprofit fundraiser

    • Managed board of directors and daily office procedures–defined board duties; kept office open during regular business hours despite funding gap; hired entry level staff, trained a new director after structured exit

    • Managed large-scale events–two-time director of the Coolest Fourth of July Festival and Mountain Mardi Gras, in conjunction with Valentine’s in Valentine; partnered with Hotel Limpia to bring the 54th anniversary of The Beatles last concert by rooftop to Fort Davis via Rubber Revolver; invested revenue in local artists, musicians, and nonprofits

    • Led advertising campaigns across traditional and digital platforms for tourism bureau–increased social media accounts from 3K to over 50K followers combined; designed and wrote paid content articles in Texas Monthly and USA Today

    • Cultivated major donors and mentored junior development staff
